Hello,

I would like to announce that Rspamd mailing lists are now going to move
from the Google groups to a dedicated mailing lists services.

The new mailing list is located at https://lists.rspamd.com

There are two mailing lists available:

- Rspamd-Users: general purpose mailing list that will replace this group

- Rspamd-Announce: read only list with low traffic that is intended for
project announcements only, for example, new versions, or
vulnerabilities disclosures

Unfortunately, there is no automatic conversion from this Google group
to the new mailing lists, hence, you need to subscribe to those lists
manually. We are sorry about the potential inconveniences caused by this
transition.

To subscribe to a list, click the list name at
https://lists.rspamd.com/mailman/listinfo . The page that is displayed
should contain all of the necessary subscription instructions for that list.

This group will be turned to the read only mode tomorrow. Until then,
please feel free to ask any questions with regard to migration process here.

Again: please move to https://lists.rspamd.com

Hi,

Thanks. I prefer a dedicated non-Google mailing list anyway. Suits me down to the ground :)

Is it possible to preserve the archives of the old mailing list? I have
occasionally found them useful.

It depends on google. I will deny posting to this group but I will not
delete it.

Maybe somebody (or you as the owner) could export all mails as mbox and
import it in mailman?

I doubt it is possible. I've checked and found no possibilities for that.

You can stop people from posting on the group and that would effective be
an 'archive', IMO.

I'm assuming that the group never fades away if it locked. :)

I seem to have mis-posted earlier, I hope this one is better:

You /could/ use https://github.com/icy/google-group-crawler (I
successfully
used it in order to import old postings from groups I've subscribed to
at
some point).
However, I'd suggest to re-import those into a separate/"archived" group
so
that there's no risk that subscribers get to redownload a few thousand
old
posts.

Kind regards, Markus
