The RSNA's Radiology Report Template Library (www.radreport.org) has been updated to incorporate templates that use the new, international "MRRT" standard.

In October 2013, the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) Radiology work group published the "Management of Radiology Report Templates" (MRRT) profile for trial implementation. The MRRT profile specifies a new format for reporting templates based on Hypertext Markup Language version 5 (HTML5).

More than 100 templates have been converted into the new MRRT format and published on the RadReport.org site. Additional templates will be published in the coming weeks.

MRRT-format templates are flagged as "new" on the specialty listings. Once converted into MRRT, a template's original text and XML versions will no longer be available.  Templates may undergo further editing to finalize their metadata and coded content, but the clinically relevant parts of the templates are not expected to change.

Please visit the RadReport.org site to view the newest templates!
