BAY OF BENGAL:

 

Yesterday’s upper air cyclonic circulation over north Andaman Sea & neighbourhood  persisted over the same region and extended between 3.1 & 7.6 km above mean sea level at 0300 UTC of today, the 04^th June 2026. 

 

Scattered to broken, low and medium clouds with embedded intense to very intense convection lay over the southeast & eastcentral Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea.

ARABIAN SEA:

 

Yesterday’s upper air cyclonic circulation over the Eastcentral Arabian Sea & adjoining coastal Karnataka lay over  Goa & adjoining  Eastcentral Arabian Sea  at 0000 UTC and persisted over the same region at 0300 UTC of today, the 04th June 2026. It extended between 3.1 & 4.5 km above mean sea level.

 

Scattered to broken low and medium clouds with embedded intense to very intense convection lay over the eastcentral Arabian Sea, southeast & adjoining southwest Arabian Sea and the  Lakshadweep Islands area.
