An upper air cyclonic
circulation lay over the northwest Bay of Bengal, off the south Odisha coast at 0.9 km
above mean sea level at 0000 UTC of today, the 31st May. It merged with the
trough running from the cyclonic circulation over Vidarbha to the cyclonic
circulation over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal across south Chhattisgarh, south
Odisha, north Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and the west central adjoining northwest Bay
of Bengal at 0.9 km above mean sea level at 0300 UTC of today, the 31st May
2026.
