BAY OF BENGAL:

 

Yesterday’s upper air cyclonic circulation over north Andaman Sea & neighbourhood  lay over  Myanmar & adjoining Andaman Sea  and extended  upto 5.8  km above mean sea level at 0300 UTC of today, the 05th June 2026. 

 

Scattered to broken, low and medium clouds with embedded intense to very intense convection lay over the southeast & eastcentral Bay of Bengal, the Andaman Sea, Gulf of Martaban and Arakan Coast. Scattered low and medium clouds with embedded moderate to intense convection lay over the northeast Bay of Bengal.

Yesterday’s upper air cyclonic circulation over  Goa & adjoining  Eastcentral Arabian Sea  lay over  coastal Karnataka & neighbourhood  and extended between 3.1 & 4.5 km above mean sea level at 0300 UTC of today, the 05th June 2026.

 

Scattered to broken low and medium clouds with embedded intense to very intense convection lay over the eastcentral & southeast Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep Islands, Maldives and Comorin area.

Yesterday’s upper air cyclonic circulation over Myanmar & adjoining Andaman Sea and extended upto 5.8 km above mean sea level lay over the same region at 0300 UTC of today, the 06th June 2026. 

 

Scattered to broken, low and medium clouds with embedded intense to very intense convection lay over the north Bay of Bengal, southeast & eastcentral Bay of Bengal, the Andaman Sea, Gulf of Martaban and Arakan Coast. Scattered low and medium clouds with embedded isolated moderate to intense convection lay over rest of the Bay of Bengal.
