BAY OF BENGAL:

 

Yesterday’s upper air cyclonic circulation over westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining north coastal Andhra Pradesh became less marked at 0000 UTC of today, the 12^th June 2026.

 

Scattered to broken, low and medium clouds with embedded intense to very intense convection lay over the central & south Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea, Gulf of Martaban and Arakan coast. Scattered low to medium clouds with embedded moderate to intense convection lay over the north Bay of Bengal.

Scattered low to medium clouds with embedded isolated weak to moderate convection lay over the southwest Arabian Sea.
