BAY OF BENGAL:

 

Yesterday’s upper air cyclonic circulation over Myanmar & adjoining Andaman Sea extending upto 5.8 km above mean sea level persisted over the same region at 0300 UTC of today, the 07^th June 2026.

 

Scattered to broken, low and medium clouds with embedded intense to very intense convection lay over the north Bay of Bengal, southeast & eastcentral Bay of Bengal, the Andaman Sea, Gulf of Martaban and Arakan Coast. Scattered low to medium clouds with embedded isolated weak to moderate convection lay over southwest and westcentral Bay of Bengal.

ARABIAN SEA:

 

The upper air cyclonic circulation over coastal Karnataka & neighbourhood moved across north Kerala & neighbourhood and merged with the east-west trough running roughly along Lat. 13°N from coastal Karnataka & neighbourhood to coastal Andhra Pradesh between 3.1 & 4.6 km above mean sea level at 0000 UTC of today, the 07^th June 2026. This is last update in association with this system.

 

A fresh upper air cyclonic circulation lay over eastcentral Arabian Sea off south Konkan coast at 5.8 km above mean sea level at 0300 UTC of today, the 07^th June 2026.

 

Scattered to broken low and medium clouds with embedded intense to very intense convection lay over the eastcentral & southeast Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep Islands area, Maldives and Comorin area. Scattered low and medium clouds with embedded isolated moderate to intense convection lay over southwest and adjoining westcentral Arabian Sea.
