Hi guys,

I recently updated my RSGISLib installation; I'm now running version 3.2.1303. I can't seem to access the rsgiscmd options from the command line. They seem to have been removed.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Thanks & all the best, Osian.

Hi Osian,

The XML interface has been removed from RSGISLib. I did that in January, it was getting buggy as we weren’t maintaining it. Can I access what functions you were using in the XML interface which hasn’t been ported over to the python?

Cheers, Pete

Thanks Pete,

I caught up with you yesterday, but I wanted to post this for everyone else:

I primarily used it to generate stats/overviews for an image e.g. "rsgiscmd --algor imageutils --option popimgstats". This was useful when I had processed a kea image in gdal on the command line and then wanted to build overviews.

Thankfully, you can still do this from the command line. If you type "rsgiscalcimgstats.py --help" it will give you a list of options for creating overviews for thematic and athematic kea rasters.

Hopefully this will help anyone still using the 'old' methods!
Osian.
Cheers, Pete
