atmospheric correction with ATCOR (PCI Geomatica) to on obtain surface relfectac

Hi All, I am wondering if anyone in the house knows the scaling factor for atmospherically corrected images in ATCOR. After the correction, i used 1000 to divide the image, but wasn' t absolutely sure if it's 1000 or 10000 - as both seemed to work for different images.
