Hello Everybody, 

Is there any way to install RSGISLib on windows easily? if not i have just installed ubuntu for this reason! 
can you give me some step by step tutorials to sucsufully install RSGISLib & ARCSI ?

Hi,

Installing RSGISLib is covered in a number of other posts on this mailing list, these should come up within a Google search.

As mentioned in previous replies by Pete and myself, it can be installed on Windows but we don’t make binaries available so you will need to compile yourself, which also involves compiling all the dependencies.

Installation instructions for Linux (based on using a virtual machine) are also available from:

Hi,

Why do i get this message while installing RSGISLIB ! 
when i write the commande conda env create au-eoed/au-osgeo-lnx I get that Error Message(in the atached picture)! 
can you please help me find a solution for this problem !

Hi,

I think this error is because conda-forge has renamed proj.4 to proj4 (see https://github.com/conda-forge/proj.4-feedstock/issues/12).

Until we create a new environment (should be later this month once the next version of RSGISLib is released) you can try the development version. The following worked for me:

conda create -n rsgislib_dev -c conda-forge -c au-eoed rsgislib
source activate rsgislib_dev
