Hi everyone

I'm probably missing something obvious, but I'm running up against the following error message when running arcsi on a Landsat 7 image from last year (LE72010242015180NSG00):

Reading header file
Extracting Header Values
Error: 'LMIN_BAND1'

I thought it might be a metadata format issue as an earlier L7 image had processed fine (Metadata software version 12.5.0 versus 12.6.1 for the problematic image). I reformatted the MTL file into the older format and the same issue arose, so I assume the different formats are accounted for in the code.

Then I wondered if it's a scan-line correction issue (the earlier image was from before the scan-line issues with L7 started).

All the L8 images I've looked at have processed like a dream, as have older L7 and L5 images.

I'll go back and look at the image data to make sure none of the bands are corrupted, but any comments on next steps to try (or documentation to read!!) would be welcome.

Hi Alastair,

Can you send me a link to download the image file so I can have a look?

ARCSI should be OK with the different header formats for Landsat 7.

Cheers, Pete

Hi Alastair,

I think this might have been the bug I introduced here https://bitbucket.org/petebunting/arcsi/pull-requests/3/updates-to-metadata-parsing-for-older/diff where I used:

‘RADIANCE_MIN_BAND_’ instead of ‘RADIANCE_MINIMUM_BAND_’

I haven’t got round to updating the version on conda yet but if you install the latest version on bitbucket it should work.

Thanks,

Dan

Hello

Thanks for the very rapid responses! Dan - looks like that's probably the culprit. I had a quick scan of the code and must have missed that. I'll keep an eye on the commit log from now on.

I'm currently using 0.13.11 so I'll update and see what happens.
Either way I'll post back here

Cheers
Alastair

Worked like a treat. It was that bug fix that made the difference
Thanks very much - slightly embarrassed I didn't spot that one myself :-)

Cheers
