Is rsgislib compatible with GEOS 3.6? I tried updating the macports portfile but got an error about GeometryFactory. As of now, the port is broken, but I'd love to be able to use the macports installer. I'm not really a fan of working in multiple environments. You can see a little discussion about it here:

Many thanks for this. I will have a look at this issue. I just received a new laptop so I’m rebuilding things at the moment and I will try with GEOS 3.6. Annoying if they have changed this interface in GEOS which has broken rsgislib.

Best wishes,

Pete

Hi,

The build scripts used for conda are available from:

They might be some use to check you are using the same build options we do.

Thanks,

Dan

It may not be GEOS 3.6. I rolled back to 3.5 and I still get the issue, although there may be some other dependency I'm screwing up by doing that. Here is the error that pops up in a few places:

_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_gis_rsgislib/rsgislib/work/9135d61/src/utils/RSGISGEOSFactoryGenerator.cpp:59:10: error: calling a protected destructor of class 'geos::geom::GeometryFactory'
