Dear friends,

I work a lot with QGIS and I am currently trying to map soybean crop area in a large region here in Brazil
through RSGISLIB. At this point I need to collect some training samples, but the "QGIS software" does
not support KEA format and I usually transform KEA to GTIFF by gdal_translate, but what would be the
most efficient raster data format for GTIFF for viewing / manipulation in QGIS?

Dear Felipe,
To convert the kea file to geotiff use the gdal command as given below.

gdal_translate \ -of GTIFF /data/input_img.kea /data/output_img.tif

Regards
AKJ
