pixel-wise AOT retrieval

Hi, 

Firstly I would like to thank all the people behind the design of this wonderful library!

I have gone through all the tutorials on spectraldifferences.wordpress.com.

I saw that AOT values were being derived to estimate surface reflectance in the blue channel but is it possible to derive the AOT value of each pixel from a Landsat, Sentinel image? I plan on using this to correlate the AOT values to the PM concentration of that location.
