Hello Dan/Pete,

I am new to rsgislib and is running the codes in the training tutorial in Windows 10. The error occurred when I ran the image subset code as "error: Could not open vector layer". It seems to be an error raised by the source code of imageutils.subset() and It might be a bug of rsgislib in Windows system, so I am trying to figure out what happens in the corresponding function. However, I cannot find the function in the file of the module imageutils. Is there any way I can fix the error or I can find the function definition of subset? I already post the code, error message and the screenshot of functions in the path of the module imageutils.

Thanks,
Boka

Hi Boka,

The subset function, like a lot of RSGISLib is written in C++ with Python bindings:

I think it is to do with the boost path library if you want to look into it.

The windows version of RSGISLib hasn’t been very well tested as it was developed on macOS and Linux. If you have Windows 10 using the Windows Subsystem for Linux to install the Linux version of RSGISLib should work much better.

Thanks,

Dan
