Hi All,

I'd like to know which option is more appropriate for Landsat-8 atmospheric correction over coastal water targets (like those from AERONET-OC station). I see there are 'clear' and 'lake' water options but I was thinking the 'clear' water option is better?

Please, is there anyone with experience or justification for the appropriate choice, or perhaps this is not a critical factor in the correction process?

I'll appreciate a response.

Thanks.

Hi,

I haven’t personally done any testing of ARCSI for coastal areas so don’t know the answer to your question. I’m not sure if anyone else on the list is able to help.

As ARCSI is based on 6S I would suggest looking at the documentation for this as a starting point.

Thanks,

Dan
