institute mainly prefers the Post-graduate fellows.So good
recomendations and resume works.

Review:

I was assigned under Prof. A.S.VIDYARTHI (HOD,Dept. of
Biotechnology,BITS) ,Pandey sir and a Phd fellow.My work was mainly
finding the single exon gene and psudogene in Oryzasativa(l).Before
speaking about my experience,I must tell that the resources and
infrastructure there is awesome.For the lab thing you don't have to
worry.No restriction,no here and there.just sit in AC and concentrate
in your work.

The project really helped me a lot.The person to whom i used to report
were vey helpful. The phd fellow(Ashutosh bhai was always there for
any help clearing my concepts from basics.) If you are paying money
"DO NOT WORRY AT ALL", you will get more than that.Apart from
project,after 2 months i was somewhat clear about my career options in
bioinformatics.

The faculty members there are good. I met with the other faculties
and if you are assigned under them also,its good.Those project months
helped me to increase my contact diary.Later when i visited the
institute i was told that the work was selected for presentation in
phillipines and korea and is now under publication.I got a lot of
appreciation for the work to which I contributed something.

Overall I will grade BITS mesra - 8/10.If you are planning to do your
internship there you can apply. ALL THE BEST.

But please make your own arrangements for the lunch because during
summer holidays Inner canteen is closed and Outer canteen is too far
from department.
