Hi Friends !!
This is Kushagra, I am in my B.Tech.(Biotechnology) final
semester.

The institute I recommend everyone for internship/project work is BCS-
Insilico Biology, Lucknow.
I did my 3rd year B.Tech. project from this institute in May-June 2008
and presently I am doing my final year major project from this
institute only. I did my 3rd year project on Software development for
bioinformatics through Bioperl and now I am doing my final project on
Microarray data analysis.
BCS-Insilico Biology is basically involved in research and training
related to Bioinformatics, Computational biology,Genomics and
Proteomics.

I would strongly recommend anyone who is interested in bioinformatics
field to come and join this institute as the training given here is
outstanding......
And the procedure for applying is simple. Application form has to be
downloaded from BCS-ISB website http://bcsinsilicobiology.in
Admission to institute is subject to availability of seats.. Regarding
fees, well the fees differs according to duration of courses.
One month - Rs 4500
45 days - Rs 6000
2 months - Rs 7500
3 months - Rs 9500
4 months - Rs 11500
6 months - Rs 15000


Some of the major project areas are
Drug designing
Molecular modeling
Microarray data analysis
Bioinformatics software development -
Bioperl,Biopython,Biojava
Bio-Linux
Phylogenetics
Database development
There are some other courses too

Bio-Linux is the latest course added and I am myself planning to do a
project on it..
My experience at BCS-InSilico Biology has been great with very
supportive trainers and faculty here

I would strongly recommend people who want to do project/internship in
Bioinformatics field to come to this institute and have a great
learning experience..

Hi Friends!!!!!
I am Tamoshree, an Engineering (Biotechnology) graduate.

I did an internship in BCS-InSilico Biology and worked in the
project titled "Human Migraine Database". Here I garnered great
knowledge and insight into the field of bioinformatics & computational
biology.

My learning experience in BCS-InSilico Biology was highly
satisfactory.
