Dear Bartek,

could you advertise the following position around you / indicate me
some polish bioinformatics forum?

Hope you're doing well,

Best

Julien

We seek a talented and motivated post-doc to join our recently
established computational genomics group at the Gene Center of the
LMU, Munich. Our research is articulated along three axes: advancing
our understanding of gene regulation through quantitative modeling,
establishing systems genetics approaches to study the mechanisms by
which genetic variants condition phenotypes, and developing
computational methods for genomics research.

Ongoing projects include modeling the dynamics of chromatin states
genome-wide, modeling splicing kinetics from labeled RNA-seq data, or
causal inference in molecular networks under genetic and environmental
variations. On top of collaborating with world-leading experimental
labs in gene regulation and system genetics, we also have our own wet
lab. This provides the opportunity for the candidate to design primary
and follow-up experiments.

Candidates with a PhD in computational biology and bioinformatics, or
in physics, statistics, and applied mathematics with practical
experience with high-dimensional data are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must have a proven publication record.

The lab is located at the Gene Center of the LMU (University of
Munich), an interdisciplinary institution whose 16 independent
research groups investigate the regulation of gene expression at all
levels - from the underlying molecular mechanisms to the biological
system. The institute is located on the biomedical research campus
Munich-Grosshadern, offering a dynamic, interactive and
internationally oriented research environment. The dynamism of Munich
and the proximity of the Alps provide an excellent quality of life.

The salary is according to the TV-L (German academic salary scale).

Applications including a cover letter, CV, and references must be sent
by May 15th 2013 to Julien Gagneur (gag...@genzentrum.lmu.de)
