One Ph.D. studentship are available in International PhD studies program: “Molecular Genetics, Transcriptomics and Bioinformatics in Cancer” funded by the Foundation for Polish Science/EU Regional Development Fund. The project will provide interdisciplinary postgraduate training focusing on application of recent high throughput technologies and an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to study the molecular genetic and genomic processes central to cancer development. The project "Circulating tumor cells as prognostic and predictive factor in planning treatment of breast cancer - validation trial" will be carried out in Medical University of Warsaw, Department of Internal Medicine, Hypertension and Vascular Diseases, Warsaw). A student will be working in collaborating laboratory with Dr. Piotr Religa for 6-12 months at the Karolinska Institute. Host institutes offer excellent working facilities with interactive groups and a competitive student stipend salary (c.a. 1000 Euro/month, during placement abroad 1500 Euro/month).
