At the Department of Informatics, University of Bergen, a 4-year
position as  Research Fellow is available within the field of
Bioinformatics/Software Development. The position is linked to
the eSysBio project that is mainly funded by the Research Council
of Norway through the eVita (e-science) programme. The project
involves development of a software environment that will support
research in systems biology. Research topics for the PhD student
can be in the area of software development and bioinformatics.

The project team comprises several PhD students, post-docs,
and software engineers as well as researchers and faculty from
the Department of Informatics, the Computational Biology
Unit and Parallab.
