Hi,

When I am trying running rseg on my data using following command:

./rseg-diff -c hg19_chr1.bed -o RSEG_simulation_normal.bed -i 20 -v -mode 3 -d ../../../hg19-blacklist.bed -fragment_length 150 -s 1000  ../../../Simulation_normal/all_replicates_C1.sorted.bed ../../../Simulation_normal/all_replicates_C2.sorted.bed

it gave me the following error:
rseg-diff: ../common/ThreeStateScaleSplitResolveMixture.cpp:65: void initialize_values(const std::vector<double>&, const std::vector<double>&, const std::vector<double>&, const std::vector<double>&, SplitDistro&, SplitDistro&, SplitDistro&): Assertion `val_weight > 0' failed.

I made data publicly available at: http://www.cbrc.kaust.edu.sa/hmcan/Simulation_normal.tar.gz

I combined all replicates in each condition.

May you advise please?

Hi Haitham,

Sorry for the late reply.

That error message usually indicates that there is no difference between your two input files.

I downloaded the files you shared, which are however in bam format.
Would you mind sharing with us those files used in your command line?
It would make it easier for us to reproduce the error.

Thanks,
Qiang
