Mixed-length reads

Hi!

I was wondering whether mixed-length reads (e.g. after adaptive adapter trimming) can be  used fine with RSEG, given that deadzones are computed for a fixed read length.

Hi Roberto,

Your understanding is right. If the reads have variable length, the deadzone correction may not be accurate.

However if most of reads have the same length, it may be acceptable.
