This is to inform you that EB issue at the apartment is resolved. An amount of Rs 1700/- was incurred to do the repair work. Also just opposite to our apartment, drainage work is being undertaken by the chennai corporation. Our cable line from the main post has to pass through the same. Arrangements have been made to the cable by putting the same in the PVC pipes to pass through the drainage work by incurring an amount of Rs 300/- The same will facilitate repair work if any in future without any hassle.
Now the major work pending for our apartment is as follows
1. Renewal of AMC for both the lifts
2. Relocating the EB main boxes for both the block at the elevated level to avoid issues from rat/ water logging.
3. Painting the common areas and outer wall after doing patch up work.
Painting after doing the patch work is necessitated to keep the life of the structure of our apartment.
For getting the estimates for work 2 and 3 is under processs. We are in the process obtaining the same from 2 or 3 people after having detailed discussion with them. The same may take 2 weeks time. However we all should agree that both eb work and painting is required urgently to maintain the life of the apartment. We should not be comoplacent with the present and have to undertake work no 2 and 3 immediately.
For the work no 1 i.e AMC for the Lifts the amount quoted is Rs 40 k. The copy of the same is attached herewith. We have negotiated the same at 38 k.
Request every member to contribute Rs 2500/- ( 38 + 2 for eb work) by 1st of August.
