Dear All,
Problem in the EB Connection to our apartment was observed. Only one phase out of the three phase is working. When EB officials came and checked into the same on our request, it was found that the underground cable in the street got damaged. They informed that the problem will reoccur again and again if the cable is not changed. On their advise we have called the Electrician Shri. Vetrivel and discussed the same. Electrician has informed that the apprx. cost may be around 14000/-. We have to dig the road near the main entrance and carry out changing of cable. Also we need to give appx around Rs2000/- to EB officials.
Considering the same, request everyone to contribute Rs.1000/- on urgent basis on or before 1st of June 2016 to carry out changing of cable. Presently electricity supply is running in one of the phase out of the three.

Just writing to get an update regarding the electrical works at the apartment, due to the single phase electricity residents are facing a lot of inconvenience with electrical everyday appliances and other problems such as lift issues where vendors like gas / water guys need to bring it up manually. We know you are working on it, kindly let the contractors know that this is top priority and needs to be done asap.

Dear All,
This is to inform you that there is a continuous EB power issue in our apartment.
In A block, the wires at the main EB Board has been damaged due to the rat issue and because of the short circuit in some of the flats they have felt the electric shock while operating heater.
In B Block there is a low voltage in 2 of the 3 phases resulting in malfunctioning /non functioning of the electrical equipments. We have taken up the issue ( B Block) with EB Department. In case EB Department is taking time, temporarily we need to get the connection from A block as we did earlier.
However for A Block, the repair work needs to be undertaken by us. For fixing the problem permanently EB Connecting point at our flat needs to be relocated to the higher elevated position to avoid disturbance from rat/ flooding of water if any. This will be one of the major task and needs to be planned in details in consultation with the EB Department and estimation needs to be done.
For the time being considering the EMERGENCY AND SAFETY ISSUES, we are going to replace the damaged wires in BLOCK A to avoid any safety related problem. Details of the expenses incurred will be communicated to you once it is completed and amount can be contributed accordingly.
If required we can plan for the meeting by end of this month to discuss all these issues .
