Subject: RNI rebooting itself

Message:
Currently I'm trying to integrate RS3 hardware with DVOR software.
There are 5 RNI on diffrent Peerways. On peerway no 1 I encounter the
problem and I have no idea how to solve it. After sucessful boot from
DVOR station RNI is startig to work and after few minutes red LED on
the RNI panel is lit (HW BAD) and RNI is gooing to reboot itself.
Working time is random, but always few minutes. There are 2 RNIs which
behave in the same way, both of them on the same peerway connected to
the same tap box. On this peerway there are also MCC stations which
are OK. Software on this peerway is P1. On the other peerways, 3 other
RNIs are working correctly. I can supply more details if needed. Any
ideas?

Are other RNI's single on each Peerway?
Have RNI's separate Node addresses?
Are RNI's tested at Emerson to see whether indeed hardware is bad?
Does RNI function when only one is connected to Peerway 1?
What happens when RNI's from other Peerways are exchanged?
Are P1 versions on all Peerway's the same?

> Yes, they have different node addresses

> Not, it doesn't matter if it is one or two connected.

> Peerway's versions are the same.
After some successful tests using "working" RNI's (disconnected from
the other peerway) it is clear to me, that the problem is in RNI
hardware. They will be send to Emerson for testing. I didn't expect to
have 2, brand new RNI's with bad hardware. It's a good lesson for the
future.
