Members of various administrative committees

Before the elections I have told many of you that you vote not only for the sports social-cultural and technology events but also to create a better student administration n other spheres as well. The institute being an UG dominated one, these committees were not much highlighted. But I presume these are very serious issues which the scholars handle better than others. Most of these are nominated by the VP.

1. Commercial establishment and licensing committee. It is the supervising authority over all the commercial establishments in the campus viz shops, travel agents, courrier etc. A part of it is the food monitoring committee (FMC) which monitors the quality of food and the items used in various restaurants.

2. Mess monitoring committee. This committee collects mess feedback from various halls and supervises the award of mess tenders.

3. BC Roy hospital management committee.

We also wish to create

1. A student member in the institute purchase committee (to look after equipments and new purchases)

2. A permanent maintenance committee

3. Student members in the Academic committees.

Students who are interested to participate in these committees may contact me personally which I shall convey to the newly elected Vice President.
