It is decided that like earlier years for the year 2012- 2013 also a Placement Committee [ Core Committee ] will be formed to assist the Training & Placement Section for better placements of students.
The students eligible are : 3rd year Dual Degree / 3rd Year Integrated M.Sc. / 1st Year M.Tech./ 1st year M.Sc. students from all Departments / Centres / Schools.
Interested students from the above courses are advised to submit a plain paper application form with the following particulars :
1. Name
2. Roll No.
3. Specialization
4. Department
5. E-mail ID :
6. Mobile Number
7. Explain in brief why do you want to be a Students Placement Coordinator [Not more than 100 words]
8. Positions of Responsibility held at :
a) Department
b) Hall
c) Gymkhana
d) Others
Application Form is in the attachment.
The application form should be signed by the candidate and routed through the Placement Incharge of the Department / Centre / School and the same should reach the T & P Section positively by 3.00 p.m. on 10th April, 2012.
NO applications will be received after the deadline under any circumstances.
Since 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th April, 2012 are holidays – all interested students are advised to start submitting their applications
immediately. It is to reiterate that no applications will be received by T&P after 3.00 p.m. on 10th April, 2012.
While submitting the applications, the applicants should enter their name / roll number / with signature in a list available with the T&P.
Selections will be made based on a test of business communication skills followed by personal interviews which is expected to be held before 14th April, 2012. A circular with date / time / venue for written test as well as interviews will be put up T&P Notice Board. Applicants need to frequently visit the T&P Notice Board regularly and attend the selection process.
