Have faced a problem during installation on Windows. I followed the 6-steps mentioned in the website. After launching Rgui.exe there was an error message telling '... msvcr120.dll is missing'. Am following a possible solution from Microsoft community at http://goo.gl/C16pRU but have not resolved it yet.

Appreciate any comments!

Thanks!

I figured out a solution here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaRCcByd1Hk

Keep in mind if you're on 64Bit machine paste the file to both system32 and SysWOW64.

Best

What version of Windows are you running? Win 7?

Thanks.

Hello. We are currently working on a resolution to this issue. In the interim, you should get the msvcr120.dll library by installing the Visual C++ Redistributable package which can be found here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

In addition, it is important to note that the solution that is depicted in the youtube link posted above is not safe. DLL download sites are notorious for injecting malware into the downloads that you get from them. The dll should only be obtained from Microsoft through the C++ redistributable that I posted above.

Let me know if you have any questions.
