Call R server from Java

I have few R packages in R server, what would be the best way to call it from my java application?

I have tried calling local R application using rcaller its simple but not sure if i can connect RSERVER using that, also i have heard renjin is a better option.

please help me with this as I have many R packages which are already written for my application.
