I am receiving this error today when I try to open RRO, it crashed immediately. I have uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled, still nothing. Anyone have a clue why this would happen?

Thank you for your report. Could you please provide a little more information?
  • Did RRO 3.2.2 work properly before today?
  • How long ago did you start using RRO 3.2.2?
  • What Windows platform version are you working on?
It may be a Windows issue. I did find this site to have some potential clues. http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/a/ntdlldll.htm

Thanks,
Josée

Thanks,

RRO 3.2.2 did work yesterday morning.
Been using 3.2.2 for 3 months or so, before that older versions
Use R studio with it.
Windows 7 64 bit.

It appears as if issues with this dll are common. Perhaps there was a recent update to your OS? I'm not sure we can solve it on our end as we cannot reproduce. Please keep us posted.

It looks like similar issue to this bug

https://bugs.r-project.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16515

Maybe its calling my 32bit dlls for some reason?

I too am encountering this error. It happens regardless of whether I try to Open RRO via the GUI, terminal, or RStudio. We did have a somewhat recent system update that I held off on updating as long as I could for this very reason but ultimately per user group policy.

This is probably a longshot, but any chance you can be a bit more specific about which update fixed your issue?
