Dear readers,

It's a "web-only Monday at RRND -- 25 news stories and 40
commentaries, including pieces from Vin Suprynowicz, moi, Robert
Higgs, Tibor R. Machan, Richard C. Evey, Robert A. Levy and Michael F.
Cannon, David Harsanyi, Dr. Gilbert Ross MD, Jon Basil Utley, Justin
Raimondo, Bill Sardi, Ed Lewis, Benjamin, Weingarten, Jacob G.
Hornberger, Thomas Sowell, Sheldon Richman, Iain Murray and Marlo
Lewis, Jr., Tom Mullen, L. Neil Smith, J. Neil Schulman, Tim Worstall,
Ron Paul, Beck Akers, Alex R. Knight III, Edmund Contoski, Kent
McManigal, Cal Miles, Mama Liberty and others, at:

Why a "web-only" edition? The usual -- some news updates to get out,
and some fundraising to do.

- It's not too late to register for ISIL's "winter retreat," January
8-10, 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona. Tons of great speakers, and a chance
for those of you in the colder climes to warm up a bit. For more
information, see:

http://www.isilretreat.org/

- It's holiday shopping time ... and Laissez Faire Books has the right
gift for that special freedom-lover in your life! Great prices, great
selection, great service. Go get it at:

http://www.lfb.org

- PLEASE SUPPORT THE FREEDOM MOVEMENT'S DAILY NEWSPAPER! We're well
short of our fundraising goals ... as usual.

After nearly seven years (as of next week!) of reliable publication, I
understand why some of you may think that RRND/FND can continue
forever without any return of value for value on your part. Guess
what? It can't.

Our requirements are minimal. We don't ask our readers for tens of
thousands of dollars per quarter. We'd like to hit $50k per year one
of these days, but right now $20k per year would look damn good. We're
well below $10k to pay one full-time staffer (me) and four part-timers
in 2009. That dog don't hunt.

Please: Think about how much RRND/FND is worth to you -- the time it
saves you, the information it brings you, etc. -- and make a
contribution in the neighborhood of that amount at
rationalreview.chipin.com or from the right sidebar of most pages at
rationalreview.com.

Yours in liberty,
