Men,
Below is an email from my wife. This is a worthwhile read and worth consideration or passing on if you know anyone who might be interested. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
Best,

Dear Friends:
I have exciting news! I recently accepted a position as CEO of InCommunity of Georgia, which is a non-profit organization that provides support (including residential services, job training, day programs and respite care) to individuals in metro Atlanta who
have intellectual and developmental disabilities. It's a fantastic organization with an amazing mission, and I'm humbled and honored to have the opportunity to lead it.
As with many non-profits, there is a substantial gap (more than $1,000,000) between what it costs to provide services to our clients and the funding that we receive from the government. We are able to bridge that gap thanks to the support from our generous
individual donors and corporate sponsors. I would be honored if you would consider being a member of our support community. I've highlighted some of our areas of opportunity below:
-
Thanks to the generosity of our corporate partner, Walgreen's, now through September 9th you can make a donation to InCommunity at many metro Atlanta Walgreen's locations. I visited two of those locations (Peachtree Battle and across
from The Peach shopping center) last weekend, and you'll see our signs at checkout. When you make a purchase, you'll be asked if you want to donate an additional amount to InCommunity. 100% of all of those donations go directly to us! A list of participating
Walgreen's locations can be found here:

Last year, we were unable to host our annual fundraising gala, but this year, it's back and better than ever! On Saturday, September 14th we will gather at Hotel Avalon for our Cocktails and Kicks "Are you IN?" event. Tickets are
still available, and we would love to have you join us for dinner, dancing, a fabulous auction and an opportunity to meet our team and some of our clients to see first-hand the great work that InCommunity does in our community. If you're unable to join us,
you can still participate in our silent auction or purchase tickets for our golden ticket raffle prize, which is a week in a beautiful home on Cape Cod. Additional information about the event, and links for the golden ticket and silent auction, can be found
here:

We are also looking for corporate sponsors to partner with us to support our client community on an annual basis. These partnerships form a critical piece of our sustaining support, and we have several, different sponsorship levels
with recognition packages for every level. If you would be interested in being a corporate sponsor, please let me know.
-
We love volunteers! We have many, different volunteer opportunities available, particularly as we look to the holiday season. If you have a group that is interested in working with us, I would love to talk to you.
I appreciate your support of me, personally, as I embark on this exciting (and a little scary!) new adventure, and also your support of InCommunity and our amazing team.
Take care,
Meg
