Hi,

we noticed one problem with the naming of camera and RR 7.0.01+6.02.41. If Maya scene contains duplicated name of camera, for example group1|camera and group2|camera RR  sends in command line parameter -cam "camera". This confuses mayabatch and will generate "Maya exited with status 210" if you are using Arnold. With MR you dont even get any error. Exit code 0.

Is it something wrong on our side or this could be bug?

Thank you

Ales

Hi

If an application handles a problem, them it prints an error message and exit.
But if it crashes, then it is a bug on their site.

Do you have a RR 6.0 or 7.0 license? If you have 7.0, then you might
want to update to the latest version.
We have changed the render connection to a python script.
And the python scripts sets the camera.
Therefore it would be possible to create a workaround for that issue
if it still exists with the python script.

Yes, we are gonna upgrade to 7. I'll take a look then.

Thank you
