ADPCLIENTSERVICE.EXE delays may job end

Hi, we are still running 7.0.34 version, and it sounds like in some situations, maya jobs tend to have adpclientservice and conhost running after maya regular exit.

we seem to have a 3 minutes timeout before getting the machine back:

I imagine this is something that might be solved in recent versions but while we wait, is there a workaround we can put in place  (I've seen a post about kinda same issue on max21)

Can we just setup a kill at the end of the config or something ?

The ADPCLIENTSERVICE is the Autodesk Analytics Program.
(It should not be allowed for such an app to be enabled by default in the EU by law, but I have seen it before)

 

The latest RR version deaktivates it, we can try to deaktivate it for you as well.

(If that does not work, it is possible to kill the application after Maya finished)

 

Please create a file    AD_Analytics_deactivate.bat    with these commandlines:
REG ADD HKCU\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\MC3 /v ADAOptIn /d 0 /t REG_DWORD /f

REG ADD HKCU\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\MC3 /v ADARePrompted /d 1 /t REG_DWORD /f

 

Then load the .bat into the rrSubmitter, change the renderer to OnceEachClient and submit it.
