Verify Failed Error with HtoA

Hi there,
I am getting verify failed errors. I am using HtoA. The frames render well, it is at the verification step that something goes awry. Therefore I get broken png images as renderoutput which don't even load. I have a windows server and two clients (linux and macos). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi
We have to try to reproduce the image verification issue.
Please disable the option “Local Render Out” for the job.
Then reset the job it to render some frames.
Open the output folder.
RR might have renamed them “_broken_”.
Upload one of the filesvia www.RoyalRender.de/upload_r.php.
As a workaround for this issue, please disable the data error check in rrConfig for .png files:

thanks for the workaround suggestion. Now the images don't have broken in their name but still can't be opened. I uploaded one at the location you specified. (torusProject_01.0001.png)

I have found the issue.
RR is right that it is not a valid .png file.
The file is named .png, but the data in the file are in fact a .exr file.
This would mean as well that you cannot open them if you render the ROP directly in Houdini without RR.

In rrSubmitter, there is a button “Show/Enable all” a the end.
In rrControl, you can change the display to “all” at the top of the tab.

Hi,
turns out I correctly named the test render images .png but forgot to set the filename format from exr to png. So it was a problem on my end. Now things render fine. Thank you for your time.
