Irradiance Map - Issue

Hello,

im using 3ds max + vray. Ive got a question about the rendering the irradiance map. If im sending a job, for example with frame number: 0-150 , the royal render can do not render the whole number of it. The second frame and some of the last frames are always missing. If i try to rerender these missing frames, the RR start to render it, but no frames appearing in the destination folder. Any Ideas?

second problem: the royal render dont reveal the progress of the rendering the irradiance map. is it possible to reveal the progress-view of the i.r.?

Hi

It seems that RR job has set the wrong output.
The output of the render job should be the .vrmap.

You have changed the render settings in 3dsmax to animation
(pre-render), closed the render settings and saved the scene? And then
submitted the scene?
And you have not changed the settings back?


Which version has your 3dsmax submission script?
(Check the event log in 3dsmax after you opened the submitter via the menu).

Hi,

the output-path and the output-name are both correct.

No i dont change anything in the sceene or on rendersettings if had sent my job already.

I dont know why but im getting always errors and warnings if im trying to render the irrandiance map via rr. Also if i try to clean the errors and rerender the missing frames, the clients started to render these frames but then they crashed up or i get the message like this: " **rrServer** Job started multiple times, but no frame found "

And the rendertime of the irradiance map in the RR is taken much longer as the rendering with destributed rendering.

If i rendering the animation pass (or just the normal frames), im getting no issues and warnings.

Sry for this question, but could you tell me plz where i can see the version of my 3dsmax submission script? only file ive found was the "rrSubmit_3dsMax_2015.0+_MenuInstaller.ms" with the last change version 

(v 7.0.03).

Start the submission in 3dsmax via the menu.

Then close the rrSubmitter.

Open the 3dsmax event log in the lower left corner.

Hi

Please open rrControl and create a command job via the client menu.
Choose reinstall plugins, for all clients and enable it.

If there is no client running on your workstation, use the
rrWorkstationInstaller, deselect everything beside the submit plugins
and install them.
