They will be no rrd4j 2.3. I created a branch 2.2.1 and backported all bug fixe and a few external changes : added RPN operator and default version for new RRD.
All other changes will be pushed to rrd4j 3. Smart backends will be post-poned to a version 4.
Please check 2.2.1 snaphot if you can, so I can make a official release.
