First, apologies to those getting this twice - I've sent it both to my "social group" email list, and also to the RRCS cycling group.  Let me know if you want to come off (or go on) my social activities list.

Several of you I know are planning to come, and Mike has a couple of free tickets won in last year's raffle still to use, I believe!

I will again be going down early, to Horsted Keynes, to help set up, and so can drive a car load down early afternoon, and back from there later.  Others probably getting group taxis to East Grinstead (or train to there if more convenient).  I've again been allocated to Raffle Ticket sales, so will be free to join you for a beer half-way through the evening.

So let me know (email direct to me, not to cycling group list) if you'd like a ticket (or two), and if you require a Vegetarian meal.

Summary of evening:

Cost: £37.50 (includes steam train, meal, free pint or glass of wine (white, rose, red), and an hour of live Jazz).

Further drinks £2.50 a pint/glass, £1.25 for soft drinks.  Let me know if anyone wants bottled lager or cider on the train, and I'll try to organise it.

Travel from either Horsted Keynes (6.05pm departure) or East Grinstead stations (6.45pm departure) to Sheffield Park (three bright beers on the train, along with wine and soft drinks), where your sausage & mash supper will be served in the Bessemer Arms. (2 more ales, and full bar service)

After your meal, take the train again to Horsted Keynes (departing approx 8.20pm)  to enjoy the music from our live Jazz band. (three more ales and bar service there too.)

Your return train will then depart from Horsted Keynes (9.35pm) and travel to East Grinstead (arriving at 10.00pm)* and then back to Horsted Keynes (10.45pm).

Richard
