Can I ask a favour please?

Good morning all

 

Could anyone lend me a road bike to fit a 6’ man wanting to join an 80 mile route round the Surrey and Sussex countryside next Saturday (12 Sept)? It would be for my daughter’s boyfriend, who is an experienced cyclist and careful chap, and he would be riding with Kit & friends on the annual George Wood memorial ride which departs from Horley around 8am. We would therefore need it from Friday evening through until Saturday evening / Sunday morning ideally.

 

They will be doing a fair few hills, but no off-road…

 

Daughter and boyfriend live in Kidderminster and are just coming for the weekend in a small car, so he can’t bring his own bike with him unfortunately.

Yes please, can we somehow arrange to borrow your bike for Dave to use on Saturday? We can collect it fairly easily this week if your friend is available to open the garage at some point.

The bike is in a stable on batts hill right under the windmill on Wray common. Mr Duncan Pulsford - the best decorator in the world- is on this number.
