I thought I would post here first
Industrial Grade Dayton 12" disc and 6x 48" belt sander. 1.5 hp motor 4" dust collection ports Belt SFPM is 1570 and Disc speed is 2000 RPM
Model 4TJ97B Weight: 185 pounds! -- due to its mostly iron construction!
To say this is an industrial heavy duty sander is an understatement. Most of the upper carriage, both tables and trunions are cast iron.
It is in excellent shape. I purchased it from a prototype maker that only used it on plastic! And I used it rarely in my home shop. It still has the belt and disc I installed when I got it.
I added a Porta Mate PM1000 rolling base. Damn near necessary at 185 pounds. Comes with miter gauge, extra belts and a spare disc.
Interesting feature, the 6x48 belt sander can be used upright, as shown or it lays down horizontally.
This Dayton / Granger model is discontinued. The JET replacement is about $2500. I am selling for $500.
Email directly with any questions. I have PDFs of all the manuals and parts diagrams. I never had to do anything to machine.
Thanks
Peter
