Hello everyone, we are excited to announce our next gathering is Saturday October 11th 9:00-12:00. The shop will be open from 9-12:30.

Let's have some fun sharpening, setting up tools, taking shavings, and tinkering on joinery if you are so inclined. Please bring any Japanese hand tools you might have, especially a block plane, along with sharpening and setup tools. Just ask if you are not sure what you might need or don't have some things, we may be able to help.

For anyone that does not have a block plane or other hand tools, we strongly suggest purchasing some for yourself, this plane from Suzuki tool in a 48mm width is recommended - it is a great plane to start with. Chisels, saws, sharpening stones, block planes, and whatnot can be purchased from Suzuki (https://suzukitool.com/tools/japanese-woodworking-tools) tools, Hida (https://hidatool.com/list/c/woodworking) tools, etc. Don't hesitate to ask if you are unsure of what to get.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
