New Period Furniture class: Arts and Crafts Furniture

Wanted to alert interested students to a new series of classes on period furniture, the first of which will focus on Arts & Crafts. The printed course schedule does not list this class but the on line schedules should. The class is "ST Period Furniture-Arts/Crafts FIW 176", currently scheduled for Tuesday 1-6, spring semester. The class will start with a slide show and discussion of the Arts and Crafts period (English and U.S.), will include demos on reproducing A&C period furniture details, and culminate with students producing either a reproduction or original A&C inspired final project. Steve Cayou and Ralph Kolva are the co-instructors
