Hi DMT2 --

Attached is a document outlining the buyout cost and instructions on how to purchase your laptop at the end of the school year. Please read the entire document.

<< Important >>
Whether you are returning your laptop permanently or intending to purchase, all laptops must be returned to either the Learning Commons Helpdesk or W508 by 3PM on Friday, May 14th.

<< Important >>
When turning in your laptop you must remember to also hand-in the "intent to purchase" form. If not handed in at the time of returning your laptop your laptop will not be available for purchase at the laptop sale.

Hey Meagan, that rocks!

I am wondering though, do I have to buy my laptop? Or can I buy one that someone has chosen not to buyout? Reason being is my command key is super worn out and my laptop won't stay turned-on without being plugged in.

Thanks,

Kevin

My laptop is basically in pristine condition, and I won't be buying it, so that's an option. I'll be returning it tomorrow.

My only concern is my very short (half hour) battery life.  Its a great price, and I'm going to buy it either way, but it would be great if I could trade batteries with someone who isn't buying theirs.  Either way, great news about the reduction!

I think the idea is the user of the laptop purchases it, and then the cost will be covered by the person wanting it... Such as myself or dwayne

The only laptop you are eligible to buyout is the laptop that you are currently using.

When you hand in your laptop write down any issues, some may be covered by warrantee and would be fixed by the time you purchase your laptop at the end of May.

Repairs not covered by warrantee will be up to you to pay for.

Hey Meagan,

I mixed up my dates for the laptop return and will be returning it tomorrow.  I am purchasing mine, will I need to pay tomorrow or when the laptop is ready?  Sorry for the mix up.
