2022 RRARS ARRL Field Day Announcement

Hello, 

The club has reserved a space at Rolla Lions Club Park  for Field Day 2022 on June 25-26.

I will bring one complete station, including portable power, antenna and shelter to use as a CW operation.

We will need at least one more complete voice station including antenna, power source, and shelter.   

If there is enough interest, I would entertain setting up a third station. Typically, there is never enough manpower to cover a third station, unless we run digital or something like that.

If someone wants to chair a hamburger/hot dog event, the club will provide the meat and buns. Participants would need to volunteer to bring a suitable quantity of side dishes. Otherwise, food and drink will  be on an OYO basis.

Setup will start as early as you want to on Saturday.  The park will be closed to the public as preparations for the Lions Club Carnival will be underway.  We have exclusive limited access to the park via the rear entrance.

The actual Field Day event starts at 1 PM Saturday June 25 and and concludes at 1 PM Sunday afternoon, June 26. I will need people to man the premises for security reasons during the overnight hours.

If I feel that, early on, there is a insufficient interest in participation, or, as we get closer, the weather looks bad, I will cancel this event.

Please let me know if you are interested in participating and to what extent.
