We are now just a little less than a week away from the Nixa ARC  hamfest!  The Raytown Club in Kansas City had a good hamfest this year and we are looking forward to seeing a lot of folks from the KC area coming down to our hamfest next Saturday.

The weather is looking great thus far - sunny and 52!  

With our list of volunteers to help with the hamfest full and all of the commercial and flea market tables reserved, we are ready to have a great hamfest and give a way a lot of prizes!  Our discussions include one about DMR, Grounding your ham shack, and interpreting feedline loss and SWR.  We'll also have the Region D ARES meeting, a VE testing session and the Missouri Repeater Council live and interactive annual meeting.

The hamfest is located at the Bridge Church at 308 E. Mt. Vernon St in Nixa, MO  65714.  You'll want to check out our parking map and flyer at www.smlrs.info so you don't park in front of one of the businesses and end up with your vehicle being towed.  

Invite your friends now and come visit us at the hamfest next weekend, we are looking forward to a great crowd!!!
