Hello, all!

There has been a lot going on at DEED. We've been busy working on implementing WIOA, updating policies, modifying and supporting the State Plan, supporting Minnesotaworks.net and developing the Workforce Center's new brand: CareerForce.

This message is being placed on the Discussion Board in hopes to get your attention. I will be communicating more now about updates to RRACP and various items. I posted an announcement on the homepage as well.

I'm in the process of updating the RRACP master list, and will send out communication when it's posted. After it's posted, please review it for accuracy. Also, let me know if you have any concerns or questions regarding training or the program. The plan is to use this site as a communication tool once again until we can access the new CareerForce platform. Looking forward to communicating with everyone.

Please go ahead and post what you've doing, how things are going or best practices.

Thanks for the update Lisa! In the St. Paul WorkForce Center, we are ensuring everybody is up to date with the currently available training. Staff from Ramsey County are also planning to go through the existing training. Everyone is also aware that after the updates there will likely be a new round of training to go through as well.

Thanks for the response, Mike. Appreciate you and other WCR staff who have been patience throughout this process. Maintaining and updating curriculum or a program is always a challenge, but when new legislation/regulations and agency demands are factored in, it adds to the challenge and prolongs the process. Always appreciate your contributions and flexibility helping out with the certification program.
