maya Xgen error

Hi,

IDK why there is this error of xgen
If i start a batch render from my pc all work, but with RR not render xgen fur on the character
There are some plugin that not load correctly?

Hi,

Assuming that the xgen plugin is found during farm rendering and there are no reference issues in the scene, it could be the local scene copy on which RR operates.

Can you please try to disable the option "Allow Local Scene Copy" in the job settings?

Hi, and thanks

Now work, with disable " Allow Local Scene Copy"

Now.. for the future works... is a good thing able or is best turn off every time? what are PROS and CONS?

Local Scene Copy is required for some apps to convert texture paths to a different OS.

But not for Maya.

The only disadvantage with Maya is that the scene file has to be loaded from the network.

So it depends on how large your .ma file is.
