Blender 3.5 Cycles GPU with Optix

Hello, 

we have a farm with a few RTX GPUs and we would like to force them to use Optix mode instead of Cuda.

How can we achieve that please?

We use RR 8.3.09a

Hi

 

As the Cycles preferences are user based per machine, we have to provide some kind of option to choose between CUDA and Optix.
(And probably an option if CPU should be used as well)
We have to think on how we can achieve that.

Perhaps by choosing the renderer in the rrSubmitter (lower left).
And then as a next step  someway to detect which renderer you have choosen in your Blender session.

The next July update has a rrJob settings for Optix and CPU for Blender GPU rendering.
