Arnold .ass from Houdini not rendering

Hi Guys, i'm getting really desperate right now.

I've used RR for many year with arnold and soft but trying out with houdini and can't get it to work.

I'm writing out .ass files so rendering only with kick (arnold stadalone) and not the htoa

All the dll's are in the arnold main folder, like i always did with softimage also

Everytime it gives me this error.

I see that there is no \ between 4.2.9.0 and bin (in red).

I have no ffing clue at this very moment.

I am in RR v6 but I guess it should be something similar, check your arnold configuration file for royal render RR_Folder\render_apps\_config\ and look for the arnold one, check the command line for your OS and check the like that sets the "-l" flag, and add a slash there.

Hope for version 7 is the same.

That works indeed for the local bin.

But it still can't load in the other lib's still gives me the  WARNING | unable to load dynamic library""

That error "Unable to load dynamic library" sounds like a dependency problem, a dll is missing which the htoa_shaders.dll and open_vdb.dll depend on. Maybe try to put the bin folder also in your PATH, I remember that I had to do that to make the yeti procedural to work in softimage.

If not you can make a copy of the bat file it gets generated per job on the rr_localdata folder, run it in a shell, then run dependency walker app from that shell, and load htoa_shaders.dll and open_vdb.dll to see which dependency is missing.
